Teachers of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business from December 5, 2025 to December 18, 2025 (inclusive) underwent training at the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University under the certificate educational program of advanced training “Formation of civic competencies of higher education students taking into account Ukrainian national identity and community participation” to perform relevant activities, with a total volume of 180 hours (6 ECTS credits).
During the advanced training, the issues of forming civic competencies, national and local identity, democratic values and human rights, public participation, youth policy, volunteering, interactive educational methods and integration of civic education into the educational process were considered.
The knowledge and skills obtained during advanced training allow to improve the content of disciplines, to more actively apply interactive teaching methods and to form in students the competences of responsible professional and civic behavior.
Following the results of advanced training, teachers received certificates.
