Defense of project works by 3rd-year students of the educational program “Computer Science. Modeling, Design, and Computer Graphics”
The Department of Computer Modeling of Processes and Systems at NTU “KhPI” hosted the defense of a project by students of the ICM-222d group, Sofia Gubar, Victor Glazko, and Igor Krasnozhon, under the supervision of Associate Professor Volodymyr Mietielov. The team implemented the development of a virtual trainer web platform based on computer vision and artificial intelligence models, which has already gone beyond the scope of an educational project and transformed into a promising startup.
In just one semester, the students demonstrated a high level of technical training, built effective teamwork, and achieved their first significant results. Their development was presented at the All-Ukrainian Festival of Innovations – 2025, organized by the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.
Ahead lie new startup competitions, participation in scientific and technical events, and, hopefully, attracting funding for further development of the project. The team will continue its work in the format of a collective thesis in the 4th year.
