Georgii Lamash — Winner of the International Student Research Competition in Electrical Engineering

Georgii Lamash, Master’s student of group E-N 223b, won First Place in the Final (Second) Round of the International Student Research Competition in the field G3 “Electrical Engineering”.

On June 7, 2025, the Final Round of the International Student Research Competition in the specialty G3 “Electrical Engineering” was held at Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University. The event took place in the format of an online videoconference.

This year, 112 research papers from 124 participants were submitted to the Competition. Following a blind peer-review process, 42 works from 62 students were selected for presentation across six sections:

  • Electromechanical Systems, Mechatronics, and Robotics

  • Energy Efficiency and Energy Resource Saving

  • Electrical Machines and Apparatus

  • Modeling and Optimization in Electromechanical Systems

  • Intelligent Control Systems and Automation

  • Innovations in Education and Industry, Laboratory Equipment

The Competition gathered students from Ukraine, Poland, and Germany.

Our outstanding representative, Georgii LAMASH, Master’s student of group E-N 223b, presented his research paper “Analysis and Modeling of Voltage Protection Modes of Three-Phase Asynchronous Electric Motors” (scientific supervisor — PhD, Associate Professor Oleksandr Chepeliuk) within the sessions “Electrical Machines and Apparatus” and “Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving.”

For the excellence of his research and presentation, Georgii was awarded the First-Degree Diploma!

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our winner and his scientific supervisor, and wish them further success in their professional and research endeavors!
