Researchers of the Department of Electrical Devises of NTU “KhPI” Received a Grant from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany)
The researchers of the Department of Electrical Apparatus at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” have been awarded a grant from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Deutschland) in the amount of 20,000 EUR for the acquisition of advanced research equipment.
Thanks to this support, the Department has been equipped with innovative devices, including: electromechanical and semiconductor switching, control, and protection apparatus, a modern 3D printer, an induction plate, digital oscilloscopes, a thermal imager, a pyrometer, a sound level meter, a fluxmeter, multimeters, and other instruments. The new equipment has been installed in a specially designated laboratory space.
A dedicated research team of five members has been formed to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and efficiency monitoring of the equipment. The team includes:

All of them had been actively engaged for two years in preparing the successful grant application to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
With this new equipment, NTU “KhPI” researchers gain the opportunity not only to enhance the quality of student training at the Department but also to conduct world-class scientific research.
In the near future, a representative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany is expected to visit NTU “KhPI” to officially present the grant.
