Bachelor’s Degree

Bachelor (Lat. baccalaureus) – an academic degree awarded at the first level of higher education. It is conferred by a higher education institution upon successful completion of an educational-professional program, with a workload of 180–240 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).

The first (bachelor’s) level of higher education corresponds to Level 7 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF 7) and provides the student with theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills and competencies sufficient for the successful performance of professional duties in the chosen specialty.

At the Department of Electrical Apparatus, bachelor’s training is conducted in the specialty G3 Electrical Engineering (formerly 141 Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics) under the educational-professional program “Electromechanics.”

Graduates are awarded the qualification Bachelor of Electromechanics.

Upon completion, graduates may continue their education in the same specialty at the Master’s level.
