On November 26, the Department of Electric Transport and Locomotive Engineering hosted an online event for students of the Kharkiv Vocational College of Transport Technologies. The meeting aimed to introduce students to the department’s academic programs, “Electromechanics” and “Locomotives and Locomotive Engineering”, and to spark their interest in the promising future of railway transport in Ukraine and beyond.
The event featured an interactive online presentation, including:
an overview of university admission rules for 2024-2025 (with a focus on preparation and registration for the National Multi-Subject Test, or NMT);
a detailed introduction to the department’s specialties;
an engaging Kahoot quiz about railway transport, designed to popularize the department’s academic programs.
The quiz winner received a prize from the department, and the college students appreciated the engaging and informative format of the event.
