Event with the College of Transport Infrastructure in Kremenchuk!

As part of the career guidance efforts by the Department of Electric Transport and Diesel Locomotive Engineering (ETT) at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”), an online meeting with students from the Kremenchuk College of Transport Infrastructure took place on December 27, 2024.
The two institutions share long-standing close ties, with a number of college students enrolling each year in the ETT Department as well as other departments at NTU “KhPI.” As a result, the ETT Department holds a special regard for the Kremenchuk College, and their collaboration extends to the academic level, including joint scientific publications based on research results.
During the event, students were introduced to the new university admission rules for 2025 in Ukraine. They were provided with detailed explanations about effective preparation strategies and successfully passing the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT). All the intricate aspects of the NMT process were covered.
The college students were particularly interested in opportunities for parallel studies abroad through exchange programs or dual degree programs. They listened with enthusiasm to the faculty’s presentations about international cooperation with organizations and educational institutions in European countries such as Poland and Germany. Questions were also raised about pursuing master’s degrees after completing undergraduate studies. The ETT faculty provided comprehensive and expert answers to all their inquiries.
The event concluded with the traditional and engaging quiz on railway transport and railway infrastructure. The winners of the quiz received memorable prizes from the department.
On behalf of the department and the entire NTU “KhPI,” we extend our gratitude to the director of the Kremenchuk College of Transport Infrastructure, Iryna Mykolayivna Bilokon, for the excellent organization of the meeting.
