International activities at the department are carried out in two directions: international education (training of foreign citizens) and international cooperation.
The department offers courses in natural sciences for students of the preparatory stage of education.
For this purpose, special work programs have been developed that meet the educational standards in each area. Educational and methodical literature was published in Ukrainian and English languages, as well as educational dictionaries in Ukrainian, English, French, Arabic, Vietnamese, Chinese and Turkmen in subjects of the natural science cycle.
Distance courses are being developed in the disciplines taught in the department, which will allow potential students to begin studying subjects in their homeland.
In the framework of the theme “Popularization of science among foreign citizens”, annually round tables are held on this topic with the participation of foreign students of NTU “KhPI” and representatives of international organizations.
Department staff are actively involved in international conferences.
