Computer Science Program
Today computers are used in almost all spheres of our life: at work, in offices, at universities, libraries, museums and in almost every home. They are with us everywhere: at work, on holiday and on the road. The global information network the Internet blurs the distances between people, opens up (provides) instant access to innovations in world culture and science. In order to communicate with friends and family anywhere in the world without leaving home, to study, have fun, work, it’s enough to have a computer, laptop or smartphone on hand.
You have already begun to learn Russian, and, regardless of your chosen specialty, you will definitely use a computer.

The course “Basics of Informatics and Computer Engineering” gives you the opportunity to learn a computer from scratch or to restore and systematize the existing initial knowledge and skills in Russian.

What you learn

This course covers a wide range of issues that are necessary for the effective development of a personal computer (PC):
– computer terminology in Russian,

– basic concepts of computer science,

– types of modern computers,

– computer device,

– The basics of working with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Russian-language versions of the integrated Microsoft Office office software: MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point.

– various applications and utilities that allow you to make work on the computer more comfortable.

The course “Fundamentals of computer science and computing” will be an excellent base for your further education at NTU “KPI” or another university, as well as self-expanding your knowledge in the field of computer technology.
