We are pleased to announce that National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” has joined the project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on state grants for higher education. This means you have a unique opportunity to receive financial support from the state to cover part or all of your tuition fees for contract-based study.
What are the grants?
Grants are awarded to students enrolling in contract-based programs at Ukrainian universities. The grant amount depends on your results in the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT):
- Level I Grant: UAH 15,000 (for results of 150+ points in any two NMT or EIE subjects), multiplied by the specialty coefficient of the chosen program.
- Level II Grant: UAH 25,000 (for results of 170+ points in any two NMT or EIE subjects), multiplied by the specialty coefficient of the chosen program.
How does it work?
Even a Level I grant significantly reduces your tuition costs.
Program: “Intelligent Data Analysis” (Specialty 113, Applied Mathematics)
- Annual tuition: UAH 19,860
- With a Level I grant of UAH 15,000: 15,000 × 1.5 = UAH 22,500 from the state per year, fully covering your tuition!
Program: “Artificial Intelligence” (Specialty 122, Computer Science)
- Annual tuition: UAH 30,470
- With a Level I grant of UAH 15,000: 15,000 × 1.3 = UAH 19,500 from the state per year, covering most of your tuition. Your final contract cost: UAH 10,970.
- With a Level II grant of UAH 25,000: 25,000 × 1.3 = UAH 32,500 from the state per year, fully covering your tuition!
What are the benefits?
These grants give you a unique opportunity to receive a high-quality IT education at NTU “KhPI” in your chosen program with minimal financial costs. Don’t miss your chance to focus on your own interests and abilities, not just on the availability of state-funded places.
Why it matters:
- Financial advantage: Grants significantly reduce the financial burden on students’ families.
- Flexibility in choosing a major: Applicants can select programs they are genuinely interested in, without being limited by the availability of state-funded places.
- Access to modern education: Grants help students gain up-to-date knowledge and skills, increasing graduates’ competitiveness in the job market.
Grant application process
Choosing a university and study program:
Applicants must select their preferred university and program through their personal online account.
It is recommended to review the tuition fee for the chosen program to understand what portion of the cost can be covered by the grant.
Submitting the application:
After being admitted to the program, the student must apply for the grant through their personal account in the Unified State Electronic Database of Education between September 5 and October 31, 2024.
Once the application is processed, the student will be informed about the grant awarded for the first year of study, including the amount.
Receiving and using the grant:
- The grant is awarded for the full duration of study, with payments made twice a year.
- After approval, the student must complete electronic identification via the “Diia” mobile app and open a bank account for the grant payments.
- If the applicant is under 18, the application must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
