The Department of Computer mathematics and data analysis provides training under the educational programs of the second (master’s) level:

Specialty: F1 – Applied mathematics

Field of Knowledge: F – Information technologies

Qualification: Master of applied mathematics

Program Objectives:

The aim of the educational programs is to train research specialists in the field of applied mathematics who are able to formulate, solve, and generalize complex problems in their professional activities, as well as carry out innovative research and project work using fundamental and specialized methods of mathematical and computer sciences. Graduates will be prepared to develop mathematical models, design algorithms, and create and operate software systems.

The program is focused on preparing research-oriented professionals equipped with mathematical methods and information technologies in machine learning and artificial intelligence for data search, analysis, processing, and visualization. This includes handling measurement and observation data, texts, signals, and images with the purpose of knowledge extraction, forecasting, and decision-making.
