🚀 The story of success:
Illia Polosukhin is one of the authors of the research paper “Attention Is All You Need”, which launched the era of transformers in artificial intelligence. After working at Google Research, where he was part of the team that developed this revolutionary architecture, Illia co-founded NEAR Protocol in 2017 – a next-generation blockchain platform integrating AI and decentralization. In 2023, he was appointed CEO of NEAR Foundation to lead the NEAR ecosystem into the next phase of open web development.
Social initiatives and influence:
In 2022, Ilya initiated the creation of Unchain Fund, a crypto fund aimed at rapidly providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine through a decentralized fundraising system. Within a short period, the fund raised over $10 million and became a powerful example of how blockchain can serve people in times of crisis.
