Among the tasks of the 1st stage are oral tour tasks, creative work, creative exercises, spelling, conjugation, translation, and word usage.
Prize winners participate in the II (national) stage.
The winner of the national stage was:
Student SGT-27a Maleeva Anastasia Valeriivna received a diploma in the nomination “Oral expression” (Vinnytsia, 2018)

In 2020, the head of the department, associate professor Svitlana Mykolaivna Cherniavska supervised schoolgirl Akimenko Anastasia Dmytrivna, who took first place in the second stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for the defense of research works by students who are members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
