The Department of Foundry Production trains doctoral students in the specialty
136 “Metallurgy.”
Specialty 136 “Metallurgy” is a development of specialty 05.16.04 –
Foundry Production (in the field of mechanical engineering), under which NTU
“KhPI” has had a postgraduate program for more than 50 years and has conducted defenses
of doctoral and candidate dissertations in specialized scientific councils of NTU
“KhPI”, FTIMS of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and NMetAU. In this specialty, from 2000 to
2020, 3 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations were defended at NTU “KhPI”, 1
of which was in English. Training is carried out in full-time and part-time
in postgraduate studies. Foreign citizens are eligible to study.
