Bachelor

Bachelor (Latin: baccalaureus) — an educational degree obtained at the first level of higher education and awarded by a higher education institution as a result of the successful completion of an educational and professional program by a higher education applicant, the volume of which is 180–240 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits.

The first (bachelor’s) level of higher education corresponds to the seventh level of the National Qualifications Framework and provides for the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills and abilities sufficient for the successful performance of professional duties in the chosen specialty.

Within the field of “G Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction,” the Department of Foundry Production trains bachelors in the following specialties:

G9 “Applied Mechanics”
G10 “Metallurgy”

These specialties are distinguished by an organic combination of fundamental mathematical training that meets the highest international standards with the study and practical mastery of modern computer methods and information technologies for modeling, designing, and managing complex systems in various areas of foundry production.
