In 1992 the technical committee of Ukraine on standardization “Electromagnetic compatibility and immunity of radio-electronic, electronic and electrotechnical devices” – TC 22 EMC of Ukraine – was created on the base of RDI “Molniya” by the joint decree of State committee of Ukraine on standardization, metrology and certification, Ministry of education of Ukraine, Ministry of mechanical engineering, military-production complex and conversion of Ukraine, Ministry of defense of Ukraine from 08.09.1992 under №№ 79/124/127/254.
TC 22 EMC of Ukraine combines 20 organizations of Ukraine, the most competent and interested in development of EMC. Collective members of TC 22 EMC of Ukraine are: Institute of electrodynamics of NAS of Ukraine, DP “Ukrmetrteststandart”, DP “Ukrchastotnaglyad”, office of “Rohde&Swartz” in Ukraine (Kiev city), Karazin KhNU, DP ITs “Omega”, other enterprises and organizations. The main activity of TC 22 EMC is directed on ensuring high rates of harmonization of normative base of Ukraine in the field of EMC with corresponding normative base of European Union as a result of which electromagnetic compatibility was selected as one of the four directions of standardization that are obligatory conditions of association of Ukraine with EC.
