Our summer school “Building sustainable economies after the crisis” is over!
We are proud of our students who presented projects of solutions to challenges. We expect that student ideas will be further developed not only in students’ bachelor theses but will also appear as start-ups in the business environment.
But today we would like to share the impressions of our students from studying at the school.
Kateryna Marchenko:
This trip allowed us not only to acquire new skills but also to deepen our understanding of business processes in the port sector and the importance of the educational process for the revival of Ukraine. We had the opportunity to communicate with incredible people, which changed our view on sustainable development in Ukraine. Regarding the girls who participated in the project, I can say that the DAAD Project changed our way of thinking, and the topics of sustainability in Ukraine will stay with us for a long time, helping us in future projects and in building a more ecological economy. Many thanks to the organizers and teachers of Summer School for this incredible opportunity to be part of the initiative to restore our country.
Anastasiia Akimenko:
It was a very useful and interesting experience! For me personally, the topic turned out to be relevant, and the format of the school provided a motivating and inspiring atmosphere. I learned a lot of new things and got an unlimited desire to move forward in development for the sake of our future lives. I am incredibly grateful to everyone involved in the organization and for the opportunity to develop professionally!
Alisa Palamarchuk:
I crossed the border for the first time and participated in a such educational program, onsite. I really liked the university and working in teams, as well as studying the mentality of another country.
Veronika Krainia:
I really liked how the lectures and workshops were held, because the teachers were extremely competent and dedicated to their work. Their performances were really exciting, and I am very glad that many people want to help our Ukraine flourish after the war Also, of course, it is English practice. I met a lot of great people that I only got to speak English with and it really improved my communication skills. Thank you very much for this opportunity!
Sofiia Chyhrynova:
I am very grateful to all the organizers for this opportunity. As a first-year student, I really wanted to feel the atmosphere of the university and communicate with students and teachers. Summer school gave me such an opportunity! I gained useful knowledge and experience and learned to express myself, be confident, and solve problems. I enjoyed attending the summer school and gained pleasant memories for the rest of my life!)
