Students of the Department of Management took part in an international marketing game

Over the course of five days, students of the Department of Management of NTU “KPI” Iryna Khirna (BEM-521a.e), Kateryna Marchenko (BEM-623e), Dana Posevina (BEM-723e), Tetiana Tymchyshyna (BEM-723e), together with students from nine European universities, took part in an exciting competition in creating optimal marketing solutions and implementing a market strategy in a simulation game called Markstrat.
The event was held at the Avans University of Applied Sciences on 8-12.04.2024 (Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands) by the Dukenet network.
In addition to the game itself, students participated in social events such as an international dinner and a quest with 66 tasks to complete in the city of Hertogenbosch.
It was a very rewarding experience for the students, which developed their professional and communication skills in an intercultural environment. The students also made new international friends.
Associate Professor of the Department of Management Olena Chaikova participated as a teacher and was a tutor and jury member of one of the 6 teams that competed in the same industry. The task of the teachers in the game was to monitor students’ decision-making, guide their thoughts and help them create optimal solutions in product development and promotion strategies.
