On October 10 we invite you to join the online lecture “Introduction to Software Solutions” for students studying business and management. The event is aimed to be the first of two input sessions for the participants of the DAAD Summer School 2024 with Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (Germany) for NTU KhPI Students “Building Sustainable Economies after the Crisis-2”, but anyone can join the lecture! The summer school participants will prepare for joint project activities, while all listeners will get a basic understanding of software-related concepts that can influence business projects.
The speakers of the event are representatives of the Management department, Oleksii Zakharchenkov and Mykhailo Buriak.
In this session, the following key topics will be discussed:
- Software Architecture: A basic overview of how software systems are organized.
- API: What It Is and How Data Exchange Works: Understanding how different systems communicate and share data.
- Non-functional Requirements: Key factors like security, sustainability, and scalability that businesses need to consider.
- Formulating a Technical Task: How to ask the right questions to identify and meet a company’s needs effectively.
The lecture will be concluded with a Q&A session to address any questions the guests will have.
