Online lecture «Digital Business Models»

On October 17, we invite students studying management and business to join the online lecture “Digital Business Models”, which will be held by Prof. Dr. Ulrich Pfeiffer from HSRW – Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (Germany). This is the second of two introductory sessions for the participants of the DAAD Summer School 2024 “Building Sustainable Economies after the Crisis-2”, held jointly with HSRW for students of NTU “KPI”, but, like the previous time, anyone can join the lecture!

The agenda of the event is as follows:

  1. Introduction to Business Models: Understanding the core structure of how businesses operate.
  2. Digital vs. Traditional Business Models: Exploring the differences and the shift towards digitalization.
  3. Software Business Models:
    1. Overview of various models used by software companies
    2. The “X-as-a-Service” Trend and its growing popularity
    3. Benefits and Challenges of Software as a Service (SaaS)
  4. Tools for the Analysis of Digital Business Models: An introduction to methods for evaluating and analyzing digital business strategies.
