The Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business was established in November 2021 by reorganising the Department of Business Analytics, Accounting and Hotel and Restaurant Business. The Head of the Department is Doctor of Economics, Professor Nataliia Yakymenko-Tereshchenko.

The purpose of the department is to promote the harmonious development of the individual and to ensure the training of a new generation of specialists with modern economic and managerial thinking, theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the successful implementation of economic, organisational, managerial, design, production and technological activities in the field of tourism and hotel and restaurant business.

J2 HOTEL AND RESTAURANT BUSINESS AND CATERING

First (bachelor’s) level of higher education:

  • Educational-professional programme «Hotel and restaurant business»

Multidisciplinary training of specialists with a new perspective way of thinking, capable of managing the activities of hotel and restaurant enterprises and developing development projects using modern and innovative methods of organising hotel and restaurant business 

Second (master’s) level of higher education:

  • Educational-professional programme «Hotel and restaurant business»

Professional training of specialists who have in-depth knowledge of business process management in the hotel and restaurant business, are able to apply innovative methods and modern tools of economics and management, conduct applied analytical research, make informed decisions under conditions of uncertainty, and develop development projects based on modern scientific achievements and best practices in the hotel and restaurant business

 

J3 TOURISM AND RECREATION

 First (bachelor’s) level of higher education:

  • Educational-professional programme «Tourism Business»

Multidisciplinary training of specialists with a broad economic and managerial outlook in the field of tourism business, capable of managing business in the modern business environment, applying innovative methods of organising activities, developing and implementing development projects in tourism
