Under the educational program “Motor vehicles and Motor Car Industry”, the department trains highly qualified specialists in the maintenance, repair and diagnostics of modern cars.
Object of study: processes related to all stages of the life cycle of motor vehicles and road transport infrastructure.
Theoretical content of the subject area: construction, characteristics, operation, and disposal of motor vehicles, relevant means, infrastructure and technologies.
The purpose of the educational program: training specialists for professional activities in solving specialized problems in the field of road transport, providing skills for solving practical problems in the operation, repair, diagnosis of road transport, managerial and engineering design training.
Orientation of the program: an educational and professional program with an applied orientation, which is aimed at the integration of general training for professional activities in the diagnostic and repair services of enterprises, as well as organizations for the operation and maintenance of road transport.
Features of the program: the program contains mandatory and optional components of training. The mandatory component is expanded by the disciplines of general engineering, design and computer science. The optional component allows you to gain practical skills in operation, diagnostics, car repair, principles of managing a motor vehicle enterprise, as well as engineering and design training.
Teaching methods: analytical, numerical and experimental studies; methods and techniques for calculating elements of constructions and systems of motor vehicles, their operational characteristics and reliability indicators; technologies of operation, diagnosis, modernization, restoration and disposal of motor vehicles and their components; technologies for construction and use of road transport infrastructure facilities; methods of technical and economic calculations of indicators of activity (efficiency) of road transport, information and information and communication technologies.
Tools and equipment: devices and devices for measuring physical quantities and parameters; full-scale samples or mock-ups of motor vehicles and objects of motor transport infrastructure; specialized software; information and analytical support systems for making management technical and technological decisions.
Further education: the possibility of obtaining an education at the second (master’s) level of higher education according to the relevant educational-professional or educational-scientific programs.
