G11 – Machinery Engineering (by specialization). Master’s educational and scientific program

Machinery Engineering is the creation of technical objects of mechanical engineering, which includes: design processes, technology selection, equipment and organization of production of industry enterprises, as well as means and methods of testing, quality control of mechanical engineering products and their operation.

The key engineering and technical skills that students master in specialty  G11 – Machinery Engineering are the ability to justify, develop new and improve existing designs of automobiles and tractors in modern conditions, develop new technological processes for their production and operation, apply modern design methods based on modeling of automobiles and tractors processes and carry out their technical operation.

What professions can graduates obtain? Graduates of the department have the right to work as heads of production units in industry, heads of production units in transport and warehousing, mechanical engineers who carry out design work, implementation into production and technical support of high-tech products of the industry engineering.

The main type of activity of graduates: development of modern cars, tractors and their systems using computer design and innovative IT technologies; optimization of design parameters; organization and conduct of research work in the field of automobile and tractor construction; calculations, design and testing in departments of firms and companies that design new equipment; organization of agricultural service and sales of cars, tractors and spare parts; management functions regarding the operation, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of cars, tractors and special equipment.

Possible places of work. Graduates of the department are successfully employed at manufacturing enterprises, design and engineering organizations of various forms of ownership.
