On January 16, a small delegation from NTU “KhPI” visited the Kharkiv Lyceum “Boiko Author’s School”. As part of the visit, Senior Lecturer of our department Dmytro Karaman met with students and held an informative session dedicated to the topic of artificial intelligence.
During the meeting, students learned about the origins and stages of development of artificial intelligence, as well as the specifics of its use in modern automation and robotics systems. The theoretical part was complemented by a practical demonstration: using a real-world example, it was shown how to develop a simple cyber-physical system employing a spatial orientation sensor, an ESP32 microcontroller, and a Python program.
An interesting fact for the participants was that all software solutions demonstrated were developed with the help of prompts from artificial intelligence, clearly illustrating the capabilities of modern digital tools in education and engineering practice.
Such meetings help foster students’ interest in engineering fields and introduce them to contemporary technologies that are actively used in real-world projects.
