Department performs admission and training of graduate students on specialty G7 “Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robototechnics”. After successful training and graduation students obtain the degree of Master in automation, computer-integrated technologies and robototechnics.

Program Duration

The duration of study is 1 year and 4 months divided into 3 terms/semesters (for masters of a professional direction).

Program Description

Studying automation and computer-integrated technologies specialty you will be trained in the field of computerized control systems, hardware and software for automatics and automation of technological processes at manufacturing enterprises, in transport and in everyday life. Computer-integrated technologies are used in the design, implementation and implementation of modern automation and automation.

Educational program for masters degree (graduate educational and professional program) is designed for students who aspire to become major specialists in the field of automation of technological and production processes using the most advanced computer technologies. The main advantage of the master’s program is orientation towards formation of the widest scientific and technical outlook of future professional along with the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills in using modern computer equipment and electronic components, necessary programming languages and professional tools.

After completion of the study specialist is able to demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

  • Transmission of information across communication channels within distributed control and management systems
  • Remote data processing and application of advanced cloud technologies
  • Development, deployment, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure
  • Design and integration of digital networks supporting voice, data, and video communication
  • Planning, configuration, and administration of local and global computer networks
  • Implementation and management of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions
  • Information security: safeguarding telecommunication networks against interference and unauthorized access

The department has a large scientific and engineering potential, modern instrumentation base, conducts scientific research in several promising areas of the specialty profile, which allows to attract students to engineering and scientific activities already in the early stages of training.

Along with training, students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of academic mobility programs and receive a master’s degree from a selected university in an EU country. The best graduates of the master’s degree program are given the opportunity to start a career in science and continue their education on postgraduate scientific and educational programs (PhD).
