During the spring semester, our 4th-year student Oleksandr Yevtushenko studied at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), majoring in Computer and Information Science. This opportunity became possible thanks to his participation in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program funded by the European Union.

Oleksandr found the course “Organizational Security” particularly engaging, where students explored real-life cyber threats and developed response plans. The course was taught by a professor from the United Kingdom, a former member of the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory.

The future engineer was impressed by the modern campus of the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Ljubljana, which is fully equipped for effective learning: a library with group study rooms, comfortable classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped dining hall. He also appreciated the flexibility to choose his own study courses.

Oleksandr lived in a student dormitory where he got to know local students, helping him integrate more easily into the new environment. The Erasmus+ scholarship was sufficient to cover his accommodation, meals, and travel expenses.

In his free time, he visited Croatia, Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia, and made friends with students from many other countries around the world.

Erasmus+ is not only an academic experience, but also a cultural exchange, new friends, and opportunities that stay with you for a lifetime!” — shares Oleksandr Yevtushenko, a student of NTU “KhPI”.
