On October 29, 2026, a meeting will be held between students enrolled in the Biotechnology and Bioengineering educational programme and stakeholders representing Podorozhnyk LLC, one of Ukraine’s leading pharmacy chains.
The aim of the event is to strengthen cooperation between the Department of Biotechnology, Biophysics and Analytical Chemistry of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”) and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, as well as to familiarize students with current labour market requirements, professional development prospects, and employment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
During the meeting, participants will discuss current trends in the pharmaceutical industry, employers’ expectations regarding the professional competencies of future biotechnology and bioengineering specialists, and opportunities for practical training, internships, and career development.
Particular attention will be paid to the involvement of employers in improving the Biotechnology and Bioengineering educational programme, strengthening its practical orientation, and developing the competencies required for graduates’ successful professional careers.
The event will contribute to the development of partnerships between the university and employers, enhance the quality of professional training, and expand career opportunities for future specialists.
