I am honored to be a graduate of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”), where I earned my Master’s degree. Studying here was a transformative experience that laid the groundwork for my career as an Android developer. From the very beginning, the university emphasized cutting-edge technology, hands-on learning, and a forward-thinking approach, preparing me to navigate the rapidly evolving world of mobile development.

My time at NTU “KhPI” was more than just mastering Android development—it expanded my perspective on computer science as a whole. The curriculum introduced me to the foundations of operating systems, software architecture, and system-level programming, helping me understand the intricate layers behind modern mobile platforms. Exploring topics like AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and the Linux kernel gave me the confidence to dive deeper into mobile OS internals and optimize applications beyond standard development frameworks.

One of the most engaging and valuable experiences was my Master’s degree project, where I developed a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for Ukrainian trains. This tablet-based Android application, built on AOSP, allowed train operators to monitor and control critical systems, integrating seamlessly with specialized railway hardware. Beyond coding, this project tested my skills in real-world problem-solving, system integration, and cross-discipline collaboration, reinforcing the importance of software reliability in industrial applications.

What made this experience even more valuable was the exceptional support from the teachers at NTU “KhPI.” The university is filled with dedicated professionals who are not only experts in their fields but also genuinely care about the success and development of their students. Their commitment to creating an enriching learning environment inspired me to stay curious, continuously pursue knowledge, and strive for technical excellence.

I left NTU “KhPI” not only with a diploma but with a toolbox full of skills, a mindset geared toward innovation, and the confidence to build real-world solutions. The university gave me a solid academic and practical foundation that helped me grow into a self-sufficient Android developer, capable of contributing to large-scale projects and continuously adapting in the fast-changing tech industry.

To this day, I carry the experience and lessons of NTU “KhPI” with me. I am grateful for everything this university has provided me with and look forward to seeing it continue to shape future generations of engineers, developers, and technology leaders.
