Professor Andrii MARCHENKO pays considerable attention to the training of scientific personnel, for more than 20 years he heads the specialized council for the defense of candidate and doctoral theses in the specialty 05.05.03 – engines and power plants, and since 2001 he has been the chairman of the All-Ukrainian competition of scientific works in the same specialty. Under his supervision, 5 doctoral theses and 14 candidate theses were defended.
He has creative ties with the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, domestic and foreign universities, has repeatedly given lectures and at scientific conferences in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, South Korea, China, Turkey. He was a member of the editorial board of the scientific publication of the Warsaw Polytechnic “Proceedings of the Institute of Vehicles”. He participated in the implementation and was the head of international grants. He has more than 300 scientific publications, including a 6-volume textbook, 2 study guides, 6 monographs, including 2 monographs in English and 1 in Polish published abroad (co-authored).
