The Department «Oil, Gas and Condensate Production» was founded in 2010 with the use of experience and part of the methodological and material support of the educational process of the Department «Fuel and Carbon Materials Technologies» at the Faculty «Organic Substances Technologies».

The academic teaching staff of the department is 12 full-time staff. All teachers of the department have a basic education corresponding to the profile of the disciplines that they teach and have experience in practical work. The providing of the educational process with full-time teaching staff with basic education is 100%. The teaching staff is constantly replenished with young employees who have graduated from the university, PhD courses. The average age of teachers is 50 years. The department involves highly qualified specialists of the oil and gas industry and scientific institutions (UkrNDIgaz, Institute of Gas Transport, LLC «Karpatygas») into the educational process, who manage the thesis of students of the department.
