The educational program “Computer Science. Modeling, Design and Computer Graphics” is aimed at training specialists in the fields of modern information technologies, programming, modeling, and digital visualization. One of the key and most creative educational tracks of the program is “Geometric Modeling and Graphic Information Technologies”, in which students of the Department of Geometric Modeling and Computer Graphics study.
This educational track is designed for students who seek to combine technical knowledge with digital art, computer graphics, 3D modeling, and modern visualization technologies. The curriculum covers both fundamental mathematical and algorithmic foundations as well as the practical application of professional graphic tools and software environments.
During their studies, students master modern approaches to:
geometric and parametric modeling;
creation of 2D and 3D graphics;
computer visualization and digital design;
development of interactive graphic applications;
animation and virtual scenes;
computer graphics algorithms;
digital image processing;
development of AR/VR solutions and interactive environments;
design of graphic information systems.

Special emphasis is placed on the practical application of technologies in the modern IT industry. Students work with real-world cases and team projects, creating their own graphic products, digital models, interactive presentations, visual environments, and computer graphics elements for various fields — from engineering and technical development to game development and augmented reality.
This educational track combines both technical and creative components. As a result, graduates acquire not only programming and mathematical modeling skills, but also an understanding of visualization principles, digital graphics, and modern computer technologies. Such an approach makes it possible to train versatile specialists who are highly demanded across different areas of the IT industry.
Students have the opportunity to work with modern software tools for 3D modeling, visualization, graphical user interface development, and interactive systems, as well as study the latest technologies in digital content and multimedia solutions.
An important part of the educational process is project-based learning, during which students develop their own digital products and work in teams on interdisciplinary IT projects. This enables them to gain practical experience necessary for future professional careers while still studying.
Graduates of the “Geometric Modeling and Graphic Information Technologies” track can work in the following areas:
computer graphics and digital visualization;
3D modeling and animation;
UI/UX development and graphical interfaces;
game development and interactive applications;
AR/VR technologies;
digital content and multimedia;
information systems engineering;
engineering and geometric modeling.
This educational track creates an environment in which students can realize their creative potential by combining engineering thinking, modern IT technologies, and digital graphics tools.
