🏛️ Polytech Unites: Boiko School visits NTU “KhPI” 🛡️✨

On 27 March, the bomb shelter at NTU “KhPI” was transformed into a veritable intellectual hub! We were delighted to welcome a large and inquisitive group of pupils from Years 5 to 10 of the Boiko School. 🎒🤝

This time, the career guidance session took the form of a lively discussion within the walls of our university. The Department of Information and Communication Technologies was represented by Head of Department Nadia Babkova and Associate Professor Zoia Kochueva.

🌟 What did we discuss with the prospective students?

Despite the wide age range (from Year 5 to Year 10!), everyone found something of interest:

🔹 For the younger students: how games and apps ‘understand’ our commands (first steps in IT and linguistics). 🤖

🔹 For older students: why ‘Applied and Computational Linguistics’ is the number one profession for shaping the future of artificial intelligence. 🧬💻

🔹 On prospects: how to learn English in a way that opens doors to Google, Microsoft or the Sorbonne.

💎 Why is this important?

Meetings in shelters are our reality, but that doesn’t stop us from dreaming and making plans. The pupils from Boiko School have once again impressed us with their openness, creative thinking and eagerness to learn.

Thank you to the students for visiting! We hope that very soon we will meet you in the lecture halls of the Polytechnic under peaceful skies. 🏛️❤️
