When a group of ambitious sixth-formers gather in one room, the atmosphere is electric! A few days ago, our team held a major careers guidance session with the Year 11 leavers at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 3.
We discussed how to choose a specialism that will be in demand under any circumstances:
💻 For those who dream of IT and technology: we explored the ‘Philology (Applied and Computational Linguistics)’ specialism — explaining why the market needs specialists in NLP, Data Annotation and Prompt Engineering.
🎓 For those who love languages, communication and teaching: we presented the ‘Secondary Education (English Language and Foreign Literature)’ programme — how to become a modern mentor who is proficient in EdTech methodologies and shapes a new, educated generation.
🌐 An international focus: how the combination of English, a second foreign language (German/French) and digital skills opens up new horizons in Ukraine and the EU.
