On 8 April, a team from NTU “KhPI” visited pupils at Kharkiv College to turn an ordinary careers guidance event into a real intellectual adventure! 🕵️♂️💻
This time, we took part in an exciting STEAM quest. The Department of Information and Communication Technologies, together with our colleague from the Department of Sociology and Public Administration, Dina Tereshchenko, offered the children something special — the game ‘The State as TikTok’.
🤔 What did we play with the pupils?
We combined complex concepts of public administration, sociology and linguistics with the algorithms of the world’s most popular social network.
🔥 Why is this important?
Events like this help school pupils understand that our specialisms — ‘Applied and Computational Linguistics’ and ‘Secondary Education (English Language and Foreign Literature)’ — are about a future where technology and people work as a team.
