The large-scale Open Day ‘Your Confident Entry’ has been successfully concluded! Over 1,300 participants from across Ukraine (1,100+ online and 200+ offline in the safe environment of the campus) immersed themselves in the atmosphere of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. Acting Rector Yevhen Sokol welcomed the guests, emphasising the importance of preparing a new generation of innovators 🚀✨.
For the Department of Applied and Computational Linguistics, this day was special, as we presented our top educational pathways to prospective students, which are fully in line with the challenges of our time:
🧠 Our unique and enduring foundation — the ‘Applied and Computational Linguistics’ programmes (Bachelor’s and Master’s) for those who aspire to manage artificial intelligence, create chatbots and master languages at an IT-professional level.
🌟 The main new feature of the year! Together with colleagues from the Department of English Language and Literature, we presented a completely new and promising specialisation — ‘English Language and Foreign Literature’ (Master’s) for future leading educators of the new generation and EdTech experts! 🛠️🇬🇧
Visitors to our venues took part in interactive activities and Kahoot quizzes, asked lecturers about programming languages and international placements, and received branded gifts 🎁.
