International Scientific and Theoretical Conference of Students and Postgraduates ‘Ukraine and the World: Humanitarian and Technical Elite and Social Progress’

🌎 Ukraine and the World: ICS Students at an International Scientific Forum

On 7–8 April 2015, a landmark event in academic life took place — the International Scientific and Theoretical Conference of Students and Postgraduates ‘Ukraine and the World: Humanitarian and Technical Elite and Social Progress’.

The conference became a platform for discussing global challenges, where young scientists sought ways to harmoniously combine technical progress and humanitarian values. The Department of Intelligent Computer Systems was worthily represented at this high level by the following students:

  • 👤 Ilya Manuilov (group IF-84g)
  • 👤 Margarita Verkhovets (group IF-84b)

The participation of our students in events of this scale confirms the mission of the ICS department: to educate not just technical specialists, but a true humanities and technical elite. These are specialists who understand the role of information technology in social progress and are capable of representing Ukrainian science on the international arena.

The participants’ reports aroused lively interest and discussion, emphasising the relevance of the research conducted at the department in the fields of intellectual data analysis and applied linguistics.

We congratulate Illia and Margarita on their successful performance and wish them further scientific achievements for the development of our country! 🚀
