🏗️ The foundation of the future: I All-Ukrainian Conference ‘Intelligent Systems and Applied Linguistics’

On 15–16 March 2012, a landmark event took place in Kharkiv — the First All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference, which marked the beginning of a new era of scientific research at the Department of Information and Communication Systems. The first participants presented developments covering the most complex aspects of computational linguistics and intelligent search.

The 2012 reports became a scientific manifesto for the ICS department, confirming its status as a leading centre for applied linguistics in Ukraine. Many of these studies later developed into master’s and doctoral theses.
