🔬 The future lies in intelligence: ICS students at the ‘IIS’2009’ school-seminar
On 8–9 December 2009, the Second Scientific and Practical School-Seminar ‘Intelligent Information Systems – 2009’ (IIS’2009), organised by the Faculty of Computer Science of KNURE, took place in Kharkiv. The event became a platform for the exchange of experience between young scientists working on the creation of intelligent systems of the future.
The Department of Intelligent Computer Systems of the National Technical University ‘KhPI’ was represented by promising research in the field of computational linguistics and digital lexicography:

The research was devoted to the architecture and structural features of modern electronic translation dictionaries. Anastasia proved that digital lexicography requires much more complex data models than traditional paper editions to ensure instant and multifunctional search.
The participation of our students in such events confirms the high level of training of specialists at the Department of Information Systems and their ability to integrate into the scientific community of leading technical universities in Ukraine.
