Acting Rector of the National Technical University “KhPI”, Yevhen Sokol, held a meeting with the Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine, Minister Plenipotentiary Tarek Adil Kazem. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for developing educational and scientific cooperation between NTU “KhPI” and universities in the Republic of Iraq. In particular, proposals were presented on the organization of training for Iraqi students under double-diploma programs and on the development of joint scientific research in cybersecurity and the protection of critical infrastructure facilities. Mr. Tarek Adil Kazem highly appreciated the results of the training of Iraqi students at the Kharkiv Polytechnic and expressed sincere gratitude to the university for its significant contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists for Iraq.
