As part of the seminar “Power and Biomedical Electronics” organized by the Scientific Council of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, presentations were made on current research in the fields of medical diagnostics and telemedicine.
Roman Suprun delivered a presentation on improving medical diagnostics using methods of mathematical statistics. He discussed cooperation with medical institutions in Ukraine and the use of clinical data from experiments conducted between 2022 and 2024.
Research supervisors: Professor Yevhen Sokol and Professor Pavlo Shchapov, both Doctors of Technical Sciences.
Oleksii Pylypenko presented a report on telemedicine technologies combined with the challenge of capturing biomechanics of movement. He showcased research results on integrating electronics into prosthetics and their further development.
Research supervisor: R.S. Tomashevskyi.
The seminar highlighted the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in the development of biomedical technologies, combining methods from electronics, telemedicine, and mathematical analysis to enhance medical diagnostics and rehabilitation. The presentations emphasized the significance of collaboration between scientific institutions, medical facilities, and engineering centers to create effective solutions for healthcare. In particular, the integration of modern statistical methods and electronic systems into medical practice opens new perspectives for improving diagnostic accuracy, patient condition monitoring, and advancements in prosthetic technologies.
