On April 22, 2025, a webinar on the topic “What is AI and how does it help a teacher’s work” was held.
The speaker of the webinar, a teacher of the Kharkiv Computer and Technological Vocational College, a graduate of the department in the specialty 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences, Andriy Posvystak, spoke about modern tools based on Artificial Intelligence, which today can support a teacher in creating educational materials, conducting classes and checking work. Participants learned about the advantages of such services as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Midjourney with AI, and also discussed common myths about AI and problems of academic integrity.
The event aroused keen interest among students and postgraduates of the following specialties: 011 Educational and Pedagogical Sciences, 053 Psychology, 110 Social Work and Counseling, 232 Social Security, as well as among the Department’s teachers.
The meeting was held in the format of a live dialogue: there were many questions, practical examples and reflections. The topic of Artificial Intelligence in education remains extremely relevant, and such events help future teachers to work consciously and confidently with the latest technologies.
