Oleksandr Skorokhod – Ph.D. (Molecular Biology), marathon and ultramarathon runner, Ukrainian vice-champion in trail running (2021). Research scientist in Craig Heller’s lab, Stanford University (USA). Studies the mechanisms of fatigue during physical exertion.
You will learn: How does physical activity affect our bodies? Can sports help us live longer? During the lecture, we will examine in detail the impact of physical activity on various systems of the human body. We will also discuss other components of a healthy lifestyle (diet, sleep, stress management), the management of which can significantly delay your retirement.
