Freestyle Wrestling Cup for men and women, dedicated to the memory of the fallen soldiers of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine ‘Azov’. More than 250 athletes from different regions of Ukraine took part in the competition.
Our university was brilliantly represented at these competitions by students majoring in Physical Culture and Sports at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies.
Dmytro Vasyliev became the Ukrainian Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 72 kg weight category.
Kamil Kerimov, a graduate of our university, became the winner of the Ukrainian Cup in the 61 kg weight category.
Two more of our athletes, Viktor Borogan and Ruslan Prokopov, made it into the top four of this Ukrainian Cup and stopped just one step away from the podium.
