Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education of NTU “KhPI” Iryna Yevtyfiieva took part in a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and regional sports institutions, which took place on the basis of the Sports and Sports Center “Mobile”. The meeting was attended by: Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Serhiy Tymofeev, Head of the Department for Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Kostyantyn Ananchenko, Pisochyn Village Mayor Oleh Chornobai and Director of the Sports and Entertainment Center “Mobile” Oleksiy Saveliev.
Within the framework of the event, an open tennis training was organized, in which the associate professor of the department took an active part, demonstrating modern approaches to the training process and popularization of sports among children and youth.
The event had a pronounced career guidance nature, as it made it possible to draw the attention of young people and parents to the opportunities for education in the field of physical culture and sports, and also emphasized the importance of training qualified specialists for the development of children’s and youth sports in the Kharkiv region.
The participation of the representative of the Department of Physical Education of NTU “KhPI” in the event contributes to strengthening cooperation with regional sports structures and supports the strategic direction of the university on the development of sports education, popularization of an active lifestyle and involvement of applicants in professional training in the field of physical culture and sports.
