The call for applications for staff mobility for teaching at Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara, Romania, within the Erasmus program is now open!
Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara has opened a call for applications for staff mobility for teaching within the ERASMUS+ KA171 2023 Program, re-evaluated in 2025, in the subject areas:
054 “Mathematics and statistics”
0715 “Mechanics and metal trades”

The mobility is scheduled for the 1st or 2nd semester of 2025/2026.
Please note that within this project period, Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara will place more emphasis on teaching mobilities. Please refer to the Agreement signed between Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara and your institution to familiarise yourself with the fields and subject areas where Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara may receive teaching staff!
It is essential to note that the number of mobilities granted by Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara will be distributed among all partner institutions of Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara in Ukraine. The applications for staff are evaluated based on merit to ensure the selection of the best candidates.
SELECTION CRITERIA AND PROCESS
- Mobility rationale and motivation
- Proposed mobility plan
- A minimum of B2 level English proficiency, to be demonstrated by an official certificate or equivalent evidence.
Staff who have not previously participated in the Erasmus+ exchange program will be given priority
Staff who have received an invitation letter from the UPT they wish to visit will be given priority
Applications for the staff mobility nomination are accepted by 23:45 (Kyiv time) on October 15, 2025.
Selection process:
Nominated staff will complete the Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara online application form
Once the candidate submits their application, the specific department at Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara to which the candidate is applying reviews the application and either accepts or rejects the application
The Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara Erasmus+ coordinator notifies the candidate and the home institution of whether the application has been successful.
