Scientists of the Department „Computer Modeling of Processes and Systems“, NTU “KhPI”, received a grant from the European EURIZON program. The project ” Investigation of thermal influence on errors in orientation systems used in aerospace engineering” is dedicated to the development of approaches to mathematical modeling of the processes of deformation of structural elements and devices of artificial Earth satellites under the influence of heat flows that arise during the rotation of the satellite in a Earth orbit, and taking into account these effects on the operating of the devices. The project collaborators: Dr. Dmytro Breslavsky (head), Dr. Valeriy Uspensky, Ph.D. Oksana Tatarinova, Ph.D. Volodymyr Mietielov, Ph.D. Alyona Senko. The work is carried out in creative cooperation with scientists from the Institute of Materials, Technologies and Mechanics, Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg.
In November-December 2024, Dr. D. Breslavsky and Ph. D. O.Tatarinova had a research trip to the Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg. They were funded by the University of Magdeburg as part of the cooperation. During the stay of colleagues from NTU “KhPI” at the Institute of Materials, Technologies and Mechanics, joint scientific research is being carried out under the project of the European EURIZON program by scientists from both universities. The results and plans for further cooperation on this and other new projects are being discussed.
