The purpose of the educational program 105 “Applied Physics and Nanomaterials for Energy, Medicine, Radio Electronics and Telecommunications” to provide training for specialists capable of solving complex problems in the field of applied physics and nanomaterials, capable of formulating, generalizing and solving practical problems in their professional activities using fundamental and special methods of physics, developing models, algorithms, technologies, creating and operating appropriate software and technological equipment.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
The main focus of the educational program “Applied Physics and Nanomaterials for Energy, Medicine, Radio Electronics and Telecommunications” is to acquire modern knowledge of physical phenomena and processes and their application in the creation of new nanostructured materials, control and study of their properties, development and use of the latest technologies of radio electronics and radio physics.
Program Feature. Students learn the basics of solid-state physics, radiophysics and their practical application in technologies for creating new materials and radioelectronics technologies, which is considered in depth within the framework of 2 educational trajectories offered to students to choose from. The following elective blocks are provided:
1. Radioelectronic Systems Engineering
2. Applied Physics and Nanomaterials for Electronics, Energy and Medicine
The educational program is oriented towards individualization of learning, which is expressed in the presence of additional elective disciplines from the list of professional training additional to the educational trajectories, which provide in-depth knowledge in the relevant areas and/or cross-trajectory competencies. Among the important features of the program is the involvement of research institutes: Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of the Ionosphere of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, etc.
