• Graduated from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (now NTU ‘KhPI’) with a degree in ‘Physics of Metals’ in 1980.
• Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, specialty 01.04.07 – Solid State Physics, 1991.
• Academic title of Senior Researcher in Solid State Physics, 1999.
• Academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Physics of Metals and Semiconductors, 2007.
• Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in Solid State Physics, 2008.
Dissertation topic: ‘Mechanisms of Formation and Processes of Evolution of Structure, Stress State, and Properties of Quasi- and Nanocrystalline Metal Films under External Influences.’
• Academic title of Professor at the Department of Physics of Metals and Semiconductors, 2014.
