Радіофізика твердого тіла, зокрема: аналітичні та чисельні дослідження різних типів електромагнітних хвиль в шаруватих періодичних структурах, що складаються з діелектричних, феритових і напівпровідникових шарів; математичні методи в електромагнітній теорії; фізика фотонних кристалів і метаматеріалів; оптичні та електродинамічні властивості періодичних структур.
