The department’s scientists actively involve young people in scientific research, so students who show interest in scientific research can already in the early courses of study choose a topic that can become the basis for their further scientific research. The best students have the opportunity to continue their studies in graduate school to obtain the scientific title of Doctor of Philosophy – PhD.

At the beginning of 2024, the department has three graduate students.

Oleksandr Opryshkin

Research topic – “INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF SYSTEMS FOR ADJUSTING THE FRACTIONALITY OF COFFEE GRAIN GRINDING BY USING TEST METHODS OF CONTROL”. The purpose of the research is to improve the methods of determining and taking into account the factor influence on the measurement result of the control indicator (homogeneity of coffee grain grinding), increasing the accuracy and reliability of the obtained results due to the use of test methods and methods of statistical analysis of the measurement results, which will significantly affect the quality of the drink.

Research supervisor – professor. Igor Hryhorenko

Dmytro Olkhovikov

Research topic – “METHODS OF JUSTIFICATION OF CONTROL PARAMETERS OF RADIO ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS OF WEAPONS AND MILITARY EQUIPMENT DURING OPERATION”.

The purpose of the work is to increase the reliability of determining the technical condition of radio-electronic systems of weapons and military equipment at the operational stage.

Research supervisor – professor. Igor Hryhorenko

Vitalii Vevenko

The research topic is “INCREASING THE RELIABILITY OF PRODUCT PARAMETER CONTROL DUE TO MACHINE LEARNING OF COMPUTERIZED ELECTROMAGNETIC CONVERTERS”.

The purpose of the research: to develop automated methods of non-destructive testing of metal products using machine learning tools.

Research supervisor – professor. Gorkunov B. M.
